Special Women Mini Album with Nicole Martel

Hello scrappers! Nicole here and today I would like to share with you a quick mini that I created. I wanted to take the time to celebrate the women in my life.

Even though I don't have many women in my life right now, the women who are in my life right now matter and they are all that I need! I love them dearly... Notice the epoxy stickers... "I love you in the morning, I love you in the evening..." I decided to use them throughout my entire album to emphasize how much these women mean to me.

Seeing Generations with Mou Saha

Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with today's post.  This month our blog challenge is all about the women in our lives.

If I had to choose the biggest influences in my life, I'd have to pick my mom, my grandma and great-grandma. They shaped my values growing up. In my adult life, however, the biggest influence is my daughter, in whom I see a little bit of everyone of these ladies. My first layout is dedicated to all of these wonderful women.

Pretty Pink cards with Laurie Schmidlin

Hi there!  It's my turn to share my take on this month's Glitz Blog Challenge - Celebrating the Women in our Life!  I immediately thought of the delicious Pretty in Pink Collection...all of that beautiful pink...and how perfect it is for feminine cards!
GD Happy Birthday Cupcake
My first card, I decided, would be a birthday card I will be needing for a good friend of mine later this month!  I cut out a cupcake shaped card using my Silhouette and several beautiful papers from the Pretty in Pink Collection.  I adorned my cupcake with some Pretty in Pink Glitzers and ribbon.  One quick tip - if you would like to use a Glitzer as a frame, make sure to stamp your image/sentiment first and then layer the Glitzer over it.  The shiny surface of the Glitzers do not lend themselves well to holding ink...but do display them nicely if they are stamped first!
GD Laugh
My second card is one that I also made for a friend of mine, and the girly colors of the Pretty in Pink papers are so perfect for it!  I used several different patterns to cut out petals for my flower and arranged them to form a large bloom.  I finished off my card with a Pretty in Pink Glitzer, a button, and some stitching.

Here's some info on the Blog Challenge this month...
